Well, blanket #1 was just a preview of things to come with it's mismatched square sizes! Blanket #3 has one place where no matter how I tried to shift it around, it's just 4 rows of crochet too short!!
I did manage to make things work by adding 4 rows of black to it (sewn back and forth) until it matched the next section but this blanket will be a little different than the others because of this.
The rows that don't line up both have 5 squares in them, they just don't match.
Since they all came off the same blanket I am wondering how they were lined up before the blanket was taken apart!!
This is the blanket that had 2 sections that had to be put together to make one 5 squares by 7 squares blanket.
When I get all 3 blankets completed I will lay them out and make a picture to see if anybody wants to claim a particular blanket. If not -- I'll throw names in a hat, bag the blankets so I can't see them, shuffle the bags and give it a couple days before I select a name to match up with a bag just so I have time to forget what blanket is in what bag. (hope that made sense!!!) I don't know any other fair way to do it. If I pick a blanket for a person - they may not want the one I pick. If nobody picks one - then "chance" is the only fair way to divvy them up.
