The blankets are all done and ready to mail.
Tomorrow is mailing day.

I started this site to allow family the opportunity of watching the progress of this particular blanket project.
Now this project is coming to a close.
I've had (have) other blogs but this one really seems to be the one I enjoy doing.
I think I will keep it open and continue to post pictures of weekend bike rides, puppies and fun times ..... and blankets in progress.
There are lots of places that receive donated blanket, so there can always be a 'Blanket Project' to fit the title. I sew when I have the time and always have a craft project in the works.

There are always the homeless that could use a blanket of their own or patients at the local hospital (which is always too cold!!).
Many of the benefits that motorcyclist support take donations for things that will be auctioned to raise money for someone that need financial support for medical expenses or whatever.
Senior citizens in care facilities could use a shoulder wrap or lap blanket, winter time everybody could use a scarf for their neck.
I carry a small blanket in my vehicle that has been used more times than I can count to cover legs or wrap up in after an unexpected rain shower drenched me on the way to the car.
And baby blankets - there's always a new baby coming and all babies need blankets.

Hundreds of blankets needed all over the place........ stay tuned!!
