Yellow blanket

Here's an individual square of the yellow afghan

Here they are .... sewn together This is the progress so far. 4 small squares sewn together to make a row, 4 rows sewn together to make a square and then edged with what I think is filet crochet then that's edged with double crochet and it's connected to another square just like it until 4 of those are connected to make the square that you see below. Edging is a filet row, double crochet row then repeat those 2 rows.
In person this blanket is beautiful. (my opinion)
My pictures aren't very good quality and the color looks dull in them but in real life this blanket is very yellow and all the detail makes is special.
This blanket has been a lot of work because the small squares are only 3 rows!! It's not finished but right now it's a good size for a baby blanket.

I'm proud of this blanket! I think it turned out very nice.

Baby blanket

Pictured above is the beginning of a new baby afghan.

Yellow because it's gender neutral and a happy color. This little yellow blanket makes me feel good when I work on it. The color, I think is what does it. For me, yellow is a happy color.
Bright, warm, sunny days and Springtime is what it says. Nice for winter crochet!

I have several baby blankets in the works but this one is the only one that will be truly afghan. The others are a single square made large enough to be a blanket. I'll share those blankets another time. Today it's about sunshine and warmth!
