First Day of SPRING !!

Spring has sprung!
Soon there will be trees and flowers blooming, warmer weather, sunshine and fresh air all around the United States.
Smells of fresh cut grass and flower beds will be full of fragrant flowers.
Hummingbirds, butterflies and bees will all be zipping around sampling the sweet nectar of every blossom they can see.

It's party time!!!!

Mardi Gras in New Orleans , Louisiana is off and running. Fat Tuesday is February 16 this year and the parades started January 30 according to their Mardi Gras website.

Mardi Gras in Galveston, Texas isn't having such a lengthy parade season. It's February 5 through 16 for them.

Of course, these are only 2 locations in America that are celebrating Mardi Gras .
