Rain

Raining again today.
This is day 6 I think.

I know it stopped for half a day a couple days ago because the grass-cop neighbor ran out and mowed his yard as soon as it quit, then like magic the rain started again just as I heard the mowing stop.

My mower won't mow wet grass. It just bogs down and dies...

I've been working night shift and with the rain I haven't seen daylight in awhile. I love rainy days more than any one I know, but I was starting to have cabin fever this morning.
It's something I nearly never get.

The cats were out of food and I was out of coffee. Both things can't be tolerated for very long so I decided to go out and let Mother Nature provide me with a few wet kisses.

When I returned home from the grocery the rain had slowed to a heavy drizzle and the sky had lightened a little so I decided it was a good day to wash the car. In the rain.
Yes, I used the rain to wash the car.
I should do that ALL the time.
The car is black and very shiny when it's clean but if I wash it during a sunny day, it streaks. Washing in the rain means I can avoid dragging the hose out, can save on the water bill, it's Eco-friendly and I can be out there when the neighbors aren't stopping by to chat for 10 minutes, or 30.

I think it's the beginning of washing ALL the cars in the rain.
